The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will be holding its annual National Science and Technology week (NSTW) from 24-28 July this year, to feature interactive exhibits for visitors.
Included in this year’s display will be interactive exhibits and product displays, as well as scientific fora, launchings, and business discussions. Displays related to disaster risk management will be at the NSTW, which includes technology used for weather monitoring and forecasting and a digital representation of PHIVOLCS’ West Valley Fault System Atlas.
There will also be a portable PAGASA planetarium, both life-sized and scale models of weather monitoring equipment, and a demonstration of real-time Doppler radar monitoring.
The 2015 NSTW will take at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia. Admission is free. — Bea Montenegro/TJD, GMA News
