Climate-resilient housing launched in Naga
The local government of Naga City and the Bicol State College for Applied Science and Technology (BISCAST) inaugurated on Friday a house which can withstand the rigours of our changing climate.
The project is part of the Urban Nexus Project's Climate Change Resilient Pilot Housing initiative.

GIZ worked with the Naga City government and BISCAST to create the climate-resilient house.
In a report on Balitanghali, the house is described as eco-friendly, as it is equipped with solar power cells which supplies electricity. It also has a rainwater harvester which converts rainwater to potable water. Even the waste water could be recycled and reused.
