This platform helps you talk to a deceased person using AI
When a loved one dies, people would give anything just to be able to talk to them one last time.
This is now made into reality by StoryFile, a platform that offers conversational video powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
A person records a video of them answering questions, and these answers will be used by StoryFile's AI to "talk" to others. The AI will select which answers best fit the conversation.
"StoryFile doesn't change answers to questions. We don't edit it, we don't manipulate it, we don't deepfake it," said StoryFile CEO Stephen Smith.
"What we're trying to say is, this is the authentic you. This is the video that you created, and now you're making that accessible by means of conversation for the future."
StoryFile was launched by experiential exhibit designer Heather Maio-Smith in 2017. The concept of interactive interview took root from creating an exhibit of Holocaust survivors' testimonies.
According to StoryFile, the concept can help "preserve the stories of humanity for future generations."
