No tsunami threat following strong quake in Mexico – PHIVOLCS

No tsunami threat to the Philippines was reported after the magnitude 7 earthquake that jolted western Mexico, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said on Thursday.

In an advisory, the PHIVOLCS said there was no destructive tsunami threat based on available data.
