As of 2 p.m., PHIVOLCS said the magnitude of the earthquakes ranged from 1.4 to 3.1 and 17 of the 35 aftershocks were plotted earthquakes.
Plotted earthquakes are detected and measured by at least three PHIVOLCS seismic stations while recorded earthquakes are detected and measured by at least one station.

In an interview on Unang Balita, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) spokesman Bernardo Alejandro IV said the earthquake had a “very minor” effect on Calatagan.
“Meron lang tayong nakuhang mga reports na na-damage pero very minor, mga cracks lang po. Wala naman tayong injured na na-report or casualty directly dito sa lindol,” Alejandro said.
(We received reports of damage, but this is very minor—only some cracks. There were no reported injuries or casualties directly related to the earthquake.)
“Ang nangyari lang po may mga class suspension lang po and, of course, ‘yung mandatory check ng mga facilities, no. Lalo na dito sa Metro Manila, ‘yung mga buildings natin,” he added.
(What happened was there were some class suspensions and, of course, the mandatory check of facilities, especially in Metro Manila.)
He said they received a report that one person had been injured but this is still being validated.
According to Alejandro, no residents were also evacuated. —Joahna Lei Casilao/ VAL/VBL, GMA Integrated News
