Magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolts Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 has jolted Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on Friday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHILVOLCS).

The earthquake of tectonic origin was recorded 11 kilometers north of Pagudpud at 4:14 p.m. It has a depth of 10 kilometers. 

Instrumental intensities were recorded in the following: 

Intensity III - Bacarra, Ilocos Norte 

Intensity II - Claveria, Cagayan; San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte; Sinait, Ilocos Sur

Intensity I - City of Vigan, Ilocos Sur
