Another earthquake - magnitude 5.0 -  hits Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte 

Another earthquake, this time a magnitude 5.0, hit Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on Friday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said. 

The earthquake of tectonic origin was recorded at 4:31 p.m., just a few minutes after a magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted the town. It was located 13 kilometers north of Pagudpud with a depth of 10 kilometers. 

Instrumental intensities were logged in the following: 

Intensity II - Bacarra, Ilocos Norte 

Intensity I - Claveria, Cagayan; San Nicola, Ilocos Norte; Sinait and City Of Viga, Ilocos Sur 

PHIVOLCS said that there are no expected damages and aftershocks for this event.
