Google deploys Crisis Map and Person Finder to help victims of 'Sendong'

Google has created a crisis map for Typhoon Sendong by compiling user-generated data and official reports. In the wake of the devastation from tropical storm Sendong in central and southern Philippines, Google's Crisis Response Team has deployed a Crisis Map to help users find evacuation centers, donation drop-off points, and official updates from relief agencies.  Google has also created a Person Finder for users who are looking for missing friends and family members. - Paolo Ferrer/YA, GMA News
