Hackers from the hacktivist collective Anonymous hacked into and defaced the website of the International Police Association, replacing many images on the site with photos of the group. The Hacker News reported the IPA site www.ipa-iac.org was hacked Friday afternoon (US time) where the hackers claimed they defaced the page "for the lulz" (for fun).

As of 10 a.m. Saturday (Manila time), many parts of the site were replaced with a "group photo" of headless people symbolizing Anonymous, with the message "United as One, Divided by Zero." Many parts of the site also contained an obscene message, "F**k Off." The IPA is the largest organization for police officers in the world but is not connected to the International Police Organization (Interpol). The Hacker News said the attackers' message claimed Anonymous cannot be stopped because "There is no head to cut off motherfu--kers!!!" Anonymous has had many brushes with international police going after them for attacking government and corporate websites. — LBG, GMA News
