Search giant Google on Sunday marked the second day of the 2012 Olympic Games in London with a doodle on diving. Visitors to Google's home page (www.google.com) were greeted with a doodle of a female athlete about to dive into a pool with the Google logo.

Clicking on the doodle will redirect the visitor to a Search Results page showing the Olympic Diving schedule, results and medals for the London Games. On the first day of the Games, Google posted a doodle on archery. IBN Live noted the 2012 diving events will be held at the Olympic Park Aquatics Center, with a capacity of 17,500. Diving made its first appearance at the third Olympics at St. Louis, USA. Women's diving debuted in 1912 while synchronized diving was first featured in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. Google started its Olympic-themed doodles Friday with a doodle that showed athletes in various Olympic disciplines. — LBG, GMA News
