Apple fans might develop an appetite for Fuji apples from this Japanese orchard after reading this.
Using plaster stickers, the orchard's Japanese owner managed to "tattoo" images of the Apple logo and the iPod on the apples as they ripened.
"Trust the Japanese to associate their love for Apple products with everything. As if Apple’s logo of an apple isn’t literal enough, a Japanese owner of an Fuji apple orchard found a way to get the apples to ripen with fruity tan-toos: plaster stickers of Apple’s logo and iPod on them," LostAtEMinor.com reported.

It described the gesture as a "so Pretty sweet fan gesture," though "just kind of bordering on obsessiveness."
The article, however, did not say how much the "tan-tooed" apples would cost.
A separate article on CNET said the fruit growers appeared to put stickers on the apples before they were fully ripe, "allowing them to darken around the insignia of the company that has most definitely stolen the actual apple's thunder of late."
"It's the perfect gift for the Apple fan who actually looks forward to standing in line for the latest iPhone each year. While an Apple product's lifespan can be measured in years, an actual apple won't last more than a few weeks, giving you plenty of opportunities to buy more and show your love time and time again," CNET's Eric Mack added. — TJD, GMA News
