MMDA updates iOS app; new features include traffic incidents, weather

Motorists using the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority's app for iPhones and iPads are getting an early Christmas gift: an update that now includes information on road incidents and weather. The update, released on Saturday, is for devices running Apple Inc.'s iOS – such as iPhones, iPads and iPod touches. A description of the app's Version 2.4 indicated it now includes the "Incidents and Weather" feature, "to show you road incidents and events that affect the flow of traffic." Other features of the updated app include:

- Added Metro Weather information in Map View - Added link to MetroSolusyon website in About - Added About Metro Weather in About - Updated Truck Ban FAQ to reflect Christmas Truck Ban - Updated Metrobase mobile number in Directory and FAQs - Fixed Line View crash when no incident on TNAV - Reverted UVVRP to reflect current Pasig City window

Apple's iTunes store indicated the app is optimized for Apple's latest smartphone iPhone 5. It is a 23.1-mb free download. — LBG, GMA News
