"Star Wars" fans must be greener than Yoda with envy over this very lucky child whose father built him a bunkbed inspired by the iconic X-wing fighter.

An article posted on Geekologie.com said the bed, built by "DarthDaddy42", features movable wings, lights, and even an R2-D2 copilot that doubles as a cooler for juice boxes.

In the "Star Wars" film, the X-wing was the type of ship Luke Skywalker used to fire the fatal proton torpedo that destroyed the Imperial Death Star.

Geekologie.com said the bed has a cockpit "with buttons and switches and a flatscreen TV for watching DVDs," it added.

"I know they say you shouldn't be jealous of three-year-olds, but I am and I can't help it. I sleep on a mattress on the floor. An air mattress. It deflated long ago but I still sleep on it because I like to pretend all the carpet is lava," the site said. — TJD, GMA News
