VIDEO: Casino Royale re-shot in LEGO

Who would have thought a remake of this James Bond classic movie would feature an entire cast of LEGO minifigures —and be just as thrilling?

 

The tiny minifigures were featured in the remake of the opening scene of "Casino Royale," according to coccosnowball, who posted the video on YouTube.

 

"(It was) carefully and painstakingly remade, frame for frame!" coccosnowball said of the video, lasting nearly four minutes:

 

The video also contained a link to a second video showing a side-by-side comparison of the LEGO and original versions of the scenes:

 

A separate article on tech site Mashable said the resulting video "gives off the same air of adventure as the classic Bond films, but with some action-figure nostalgia."

 

"The sequence uses stop motion animation to retell the story, scene by scene," it said.
