Diners at this Chinese-cuisine restaurant in South Korea may get a happy bonus if they happen to be fans of Japanese giant robot manga and anime shows.

The "Tetsujin Chinese Restaurant" features the owners sizeable collection of giant robot memorabilia, according to a report on Kotaku.com.

"(W)hat makes the restaurant truly unique is that it houses the owner's collection of giant robot memorabilia, old plastic models, board games, and radio controlled vehicles—in short, genuinely cool things. There's lots of neat Japanese things!" it said.

It said the restaurant contains memorabilia of shows that include Tetsujin 28-go, Mazinger Z, Astro Boy, and Ultraman.

The Tetsujin Chinese Restaurant's Korean-language site indicates that it is open for reservations.

The establishment takes its name from Tetsujin 28-go, a Japanese manga and anime about a boy who controls a giant robot. It was dubbed as Gigantor in the United States.

"It (Tetsujin) was also released in South Korea, where the gentleman who owns this restaurant fell in love with the cartoon. Bless him," Kotaku.com said. — TJD, GMA News
