New plants, zombies—and zombie chickens—debut in PvZ sequel for iOS

Say hello to B**k Choy, Bloomerang, and Lightning Reed...and Ra Zombie, Swashbuckler Zombie, and Chicken Wrangler Zombie—oh, and Zombie Chickens!

They're the new playable characters in the long-awaited sequel to the hit game "Plants vs Zombies," which debuted for Apple's iOS platform.

"New Plant Food and power-ups will take your game to new dimensions. Plant Food will supercharge your plants when you need it most. Use your fingers to pinch, flick and zap zombies off your lawn," Electronic Arts said in the page on the iTunes store.

The game also has support for iOS 7.

A separate article on Mashable said a player has to go back in time to search for Crazy Dave’s taco.

The game is divided up into three stages: ancient Egypt, a pirate ship, and the wild West, "each with their own unique levels," it said. — VC, GMA News
