The device, dubbed Kapture, constantly records sound 60 seconds at a time, and saves an audio clip once the wearer pushes a button, tech site Mashable reported.

"The device constantly records sound, so no memorable moment passes without the chance to be saved forever. If one of those moments happens, the wearer pushes a button and the device stores the clip for later editing or organizing," it said.

It said the company behind Kapture is planning to raise $150,000 in funds via Kickstarter.

However, Mashable also noted the device could have a problem capturing a market that is expecting multi-functional smart watches.

"Considering the premium on wrist real estate with smart watches jamming up the tech rumor mill, Kapture could have a difficult time competing for space," it said. — VC, GMA News
