Gamers planning to get Microsoft's new Xbox One might want to start clearing their throats early, if a video showcasing the console's voice user interface is any indication.

A video posted on Oct. 27 by gaming site Polygon on YouTube featured a "video released by Microsoft outlining the Xbox One's UI."

The video, which runs for one minute and 23 seconds, suggested the Xbox One's multitasking capabilities, all prompted by the user's voice

In the video, the user switches between games, a movie and a Skype call.

A separate article on tech site Mashable said the Xbox One dashboard has tiles "that bear a strong resemblance to the Xbox 360, and, by extension, Windows 8."

Mashable said the Xbox One will go on sale in North America starting Nov. 22.

In the video, it noted the player "changes activities quickly, all with voice command, hopping from a movie to the game Titanfall when he's alerted the match is ready."

"He then records and shares game footage through voice commands, while playing simultaneously. The player then abruptly starts a movie and answers a Skype call from his friend, who reminds him that he has a life outside of Xbox One," it added.

Meanwhile, Mashable said the video also also showed a feature called "snap," which places apps on the side of the main screen.

The feature lets users access content like their browser, their friends' list or Skype, "all while simultaneously playing a game or watching live television," it added. – KDM, GMA News
