You could think of it as a kid-friendly Siri stuffed into a teddy bear.

Introducing WikiBear, a stuffed toy that connects to the internet to answer children's questions, crack jokes and even give sports updates.

The bear is one of the attractions at the 2014 International American Toy Fair, tech site Mashable reported

"He has a personality, too. He'll remember names, share his interests (and his favorite color) and develop a relationship with the owner. The more you play with it, the more it gets to know your personality too," Mashable said.

A video of the bear in action indicated it still had a robotic voice, though Mashable said the voice would be updated before the bear invades store shelves.

It said the bear is due to be launched in September, and may cost about US$60.

The bear will sync to a mobile device via Bluetooth and WikiBear app that searches the internet to answer questions.

Also, the software in the toy has filters "to make sure questions and answers are kid-friendly," Mashable said. — KDM, GMA News
