Google tests glance feature for Google Glass

Users of Google Glass may soon respond to a new email or call alert with just a glance instead of the more awkward moves of nodding up or tapping a touchpad.

In a Google+ post, the Internet giant said the new feature can be activated with just a tweak of the settings and a few calibration steps.

"Before, when you heard a notification chime, you had to either nod your head up or tap the touchpad to see it. Now, you can just glance at your screen," it said.

However, it admitted the feature is still new and still under testing. It urged Glass users to "take it for a spin and let us know how you like it."

A separate article on The Next Web said a user can enable the feature by navigating to Settings and tapping the new Notification card.

"After some calibration, you’re good to go," it said. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
