This playable Tetris t-shirt is retro cool

It may be 30 years old, but Tetris—better known to Filipino fans through its many "Brick Game" knockoffs—appears to be a good fit for the wearable tech age after all.
A fan of the game has created a playable version of the game on a T-shirt, and posted a demo of it on video sharing site YouTube.
"Here is a project I just finished, just in time for the 30th anniversary of Tetris. a T-Shirt you can play," Marc Kerger said:
"I always wanted a playable Tshirt, well now I made one myself. based on the pumpktris from instructables," Kerger added.
The project involved an Arduino board, four AA batteries and 128 LEDs.
Last June, Tetris marked its 30th birthday—meaning 30 years of seeing users go nuts trying to manipulate falling bricks to keep them from filling up the screen.
"I never imagined Tetris was going to be this successful... The simple, yet addicting nature of Tetris still has me playing it a few times every week. I meet fans from around the world who are also as passionate about Tetris as me, and there is no doubt in my mind Tetris will continue to expand and bring its classic appeal to new players in new ways and on new devices, whatever they may be," gaming site Gamespot.com quoted Tetris inventor Alexey Pajitnov as saying.
Citing figures from The Tetris Company, Gamespot said Tetris has enjoyed more than 425 million paid downloads for mobile devices.
For its part, Tetris Company agent Blue Planet Software appears to be gearing for more years of Tetris with new games and licensing arrangements. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
