The Walking Dead: Season Two finale paints Clementine's sad, hard journey
By TIM G. VILLASOR

It’s been a long and hard journey for the survivors featured in Telltale Games’ adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s seminal zombie universe that is “The Walking Dead,” but all of that is about to come to an end as the developer is ready to wrap things up for the second season of the post-apocalyptic undead game and its little surviving protagonist, Clementine.
Since it was released at the end of 2013, The Walking Dead: Season Two was as intense as it was heart-wrenching for those brave enough to play the sequel to the 2012 game that has garnered many “Game of the Year” awards thanks to its emotionally driven storyline and the various hard choices players make that affect the outcome of the game.
Taking place more than a year after the events of the first season, players now find themselves in control of Clementine, the deuteragonist and the moral conscience that the first game’s lead, Lee Everett, guides and protects. From the start until present events in the second season, Clem’s path and experiences turned her into a hardened survivor, trying to stay one step ahead from being killed by walkers or other evil people who have more sinister ideas of taking advantage of the living.

To be released this week starting August 26th, the final episode of Season 2, entitled “No Going Back”, will determine the fate of Clementine and her fellow group of survivors after going through so much in their journey to find sanctuary and stay alive. In their aim to complete the circle and bring players new and old up to speed, Telltale Games has released a new cinematic trailer for Episode 5, which has an appropriate subtitle and hashtag attached that simply uses the words “My Clementine”.
Whoever has played The Walking Dead up to this point will surely relate and be affected by this nicely edited trailer in preparation for the finale to come. Otherwise, lots of SPOILERS are present in this teaser, so those who don’t want to know what happens from the beginning are encouraged to view this at your own risk.
The Walking Dead: Season 2 Episode 5: No Going Back will be released as a downloadable episode for PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android users starting August 26. — TJD, GMA News
