Robinsons Malls recently launched a mobile app that aims to augment mallgoers' experience of the retail operator's facilities.
From getting to the nearest Robinsons branch to buying food and finding store promos, the app provides assistance at each step. It can pinpoint the nearest Robinsons to your location and for the major branches in the Metro Manila area, the app can also provide directions. Once you arrive, it can tell you how many parking slots are still available.
The app also features interactive maps that can give you directions to the different stores inside the mall, with an option to specify PWD-friendly routes. Clicking on a specific store displays information about it, including if there are any promos or sales. The Facebook integration allows the user to share their reviews about stores they have visited.
Stores can also be browsed by category. The app can show you the location of all the mall’s bathrooms.
Robinsons' app also enables you to buy movie tickets and pay with your credit card, however, Android users need to print out their vouchers beforehand. There is also no other payment option aside from credit cards as of the moment.
One other feature is an option to integrate upcoming events with your phone’s calendar. In addition the Lingkod Pinoy option lists down government agencies that offer services in the mall.
When you decide that it is time to go home, the app can help you remember where exactly you parked your car and provide directions.
An Internet connection is required to update the information in the app. The app is available for both Android (version 4.0 and above) and Apple (iOS version 6 and above) devices. — TJD, GMA News
