The Wankband uses self-love to power your gadgets

 

 

Now you have the power in your hand to make power from your hand.

 

Meet the wankband, a wrist-worn device powered by "dirty energy" that uses kinetic energy to charge mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

 

"Start jacking on... The wankband creates power when moved in an up and down motion," said the maker, porn site Pornhub.

 

It said the kinetic charger inside the band stores the "sustainable" electricity generated by the up-and-down motion.

 

"Every day, millions of hours of adult content are consumed online, wasting energy in the process and hurting the environment. At Pornhub we decided to do something about it," Pornhub said.

 

How it works

 

Tech site Gizmodo said a "small inner valve in the band sends a weight up and down" and the generated energy can power gadgets.
