Samsung launched their new line of ultra high definition (UHD) TVs in the Philippines during their 2015 TV Roadshow at the SMX Convention center in SM Aura on April 28.

Samsung SUHD TVs make use of eco-friendly nano-crystal technology which transmits different colors, depending on their size. This leads to 64 times the color expression of conventional TVs. The intelligent remastering engine automatically optimizes all content displayed to match the color and brightness of the SUHD TV. It also analyses the brightness of the images to minimize power consumption and enhance contrast levels.

Other additional features include Samsung Seasons, which allows users to watch the first episode of new shows for free and then rent the rest of the season for up to a month. Family TV 2.0 allows users to save photos and sound bites from what’s playing on their TV on USBs, and includes Story Replay where audio from TV shows can be added to still photos. Sports mode highlights and replays important moments in-game.

Samsung also launched their new WAM 7500/6500 speakers. Using ring radio technology, sound flows in a 360 degree radius instead of in a single direction. The Curved Soundbar has a multiroom feature and can connect to the SUHD TV via Bluetooth.
