Moto G, Motorola's upcoming midrange smartphone, may sport a 13-megapixel rear camera - if photos leaked online are accurate.
Android Police cited a Google+ post by "Neo Lee" on Sunday, showing parts of the supposed upcoming Motorola phone.
The phone, photos of which were supposedly from a Chinese forum sports "XT1543" model number - after the unlocked first-gen XT1032 and second-gen XT1064.
"The biggest improvement in the leak is a new 13-megapixel rear camera paired to a 5MP 'selfie' cam (the 2014 Moto G had an 8MP/2MP setup) and a new Snapdragon 410 processor replacing the older S400," it said.
Citing the photos, Android Police said Motorola appears to plan "to keep the same basic layout for 2015 but revise the textured rear panel with an LG-style vertical strip."
But it added the vertical strip "looks purely decorative, with no power or volume controls."
Other specs include:
- Android 5.1.1
- 5-inch screen
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB storage
- MicroSD card slot
Android Police said the leak indicates the phone is an LTE model.
"(I)f the company keeps to its yearly release cycle, the next Moto G won't hit shelves until well into the third quarter of 2015 or later," Android Police said. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
