WATCH: Google Maps gets some attitude with Easter egg
It doesn't pay to piss off Google Maps by asking "Are we there yet" repeatedly. At least not on an Android device.
The latest version of the app - v9.12 and above - has an Easter egg that activates when the app is in Navigation mode, Android Police reported.
A video posted by Android Police showed a user using voice commands to ask the app, "are we there yet."
On the fourth time, the app responds, "if you ask me again, we won't stop for ice cream."
"The first time you ask, Maps will politely let you know how much longer the current trip should take. Try two more times and you'll just hear a terse 'No' with each query. Go at it once more and you'll have reached your destination: angering Google's geographically obsessed matriarch," Android Police said. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
