Facebook 'is free and always will be'; internet hoax debunked

Facebook posted a status update using their official account today, September 29, addressing resurging rumors that have been making their rounds on the social media site.

 

They stated that Facebook has always been, and will remain, a free service. They also said the post making rounds about protecting the contents of your profile is “just a hoax.”
