New PS4 Greatest Hits include God of War III, Until Dawn

“God of War III Remastered” and “Until Dawn” are just two of the games that will be getting the Greatest Hits treatment this July, Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) announced today, July 5.

The PlayStation 4 Greatest Hits are rereleases of massively popular games, but at affordable prices.

“God of War III,” as you will recall, centers on Kratos, a bald Greek dude with severe anger management and daddy issues. The game takes him to Mount Olympus – and other notable locations in Greek mythology – to square off against the gods.

“God of War III Remastered,” as an upgrade of the original “God of War III,” features improved textures and a 1080 resolution. It runs at 60 frames per second. In addition, the game has a Photo Mode. This lets you freeze gameplay by pressing the left touchpad, allowing you to easily capture the moment with the Share button.

“Until Dawn” is an interactive drama and horror title starring Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek. The game is about a bunch of youngsters and their disastrous vacation. Like the most memorable horror flicks, the game starts in a remote cabin in the woods, then evolves into something more sinister.

As the player, you get to control each of the teenagers. Every decision you make – from the seemingly innocent to gut-wrenching – will affect the story in unforeseeable ways. Not to mention one wrong move can send a character to an early grave. This gives weight and meaning to all your choices.
