Arrow’s Deathstroke returning?
The CW set of DC Superhero shows is currently taking a brief hiatus from television, but all of them are set to return just before April ends and will run the final leg of episodes for their respective seasons. In the case of the Green Arrow-centered TV Series “Arrow”, a lot of hype is riding on the return of some familiar faces, with characters like Deathstroke and Nyssa Al Ghul expected to come back just before Season 5 ends.
In a story published by Comic Book Resources. Arrow star and lead Stephen Amell tweeted a picture apparently announcing that Manu Bennett, the actor who played Slade Wilson/ Deathstroke in the first few seasons of the show, will be returning for the end of Season 5.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Welcome back @manubennett. pic.twitter.com/ITB7a7Tq6h

However Manu Bennett himself has fired back in his own Twitter that he is NOT in the set of Arrow currently – either denying that he is returning as Deathstroke or intentionally misleading fans to throw them off the scent. Bennett has stated in an additional tweet that he is currently in Auckland filming the “Shannara Chronicles”.
For the record - I'm not going back for Arrow! #assumptionisthemotherofall...

With the latest season of Arrow just about ready to close, the producers of the show are teasing that Oliver is getting help from some returning faces to deal with his latest adversary Prometheus. Besides actress Katrina Law confirming that she will be back as Nyssa Al Ghul, Amell and executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased that Deathstroke would be returning. Unfortunately Manu Bennett doesn’t think so, and we can only wait and see how things develop.
