Special Force Online getting anti-cheat security system
Playpark’s relaunch of “Special Force Online” proved a huge success among fans, but it also brought all the cheaters out of the woodwork, who have been abusing third party programs to unfairly win matches. All that is about to change this April, however, as Playpark will be introducing a new security system designed to counter this problem.
The @Gate security system to be implemented in “Special Force Online” has the ability to detect third party programs, and then prevent the gaming unit or PC from initiating the game. This will effectively prohibit cheaters from playing the game.
All cheaters and any cybercafes that have third party programs installed in their PCs that allow players to cheat will, of course, be affected by this security system once it goes live.
“Special Force Online” was originally released in South Korea in 2004, and introduced in the Philippines in 2008. Despite its popularity among Filipinos, the game was sadly discontinued a few years after its debut in the country. It was in late 2016 that Playpark announced it was bringing back the game locally. It has garnered 2.5 million gamers since its November 2016 relaunch.
