Facebook launches tools to counter bullying and harassment
Facebook on Tuesday announced that it is expanding its existing safety measures against bullying and harassment.
All users will soon be able to "hide or delete multiple comments at once from the options menu of their post," making it quicker to remove threats and other negative remarks.
Users can visit Facebook's Bullying Prevention Hub for more information.

Facebook will also now hear appeals regarding posts that violate Community Standards, such as threats of non-consensual sexual touching and high-severity physical descriptions.
The appeal works both for a user who wants to appeal a removed post or a user who wants to question Facebook's decision to retain a post.
Another new feature is reporting on another user's behalf. If you see a friend being harassed, a menu above the post will allow you to report it as bullying.
Finally, Facebook announced that they will now start protecting public figures against harassment regardless of age.
The social media giant has an existing policy on verbal assault against young celebrities and this policy will now cover "severe attacks that directly engage a public figure." — Aya Tantiangco/BM, GMA News
