Instagram is inaccessible

Photo and video-sharing social networking service, Instagram, could not be accessed early Friday morning.

The situation was reported by CNet, a tech magazine, which stated that users may experience a message "couldn't refresh feed" for those who are trying to access program on their desktop.

Users may also encounter "Sorry, something went wrong" message.

The tech site says that Down Detector has recorded more than 38,000 reports.

Instagram, which is  owned by Facebook, Inc., CNet says has not yet responded to a request for comment on how long it's been down, when the program will be back up, what caused the outage, and whether it is global. — BAP, GMA News
