Pinoy-made action game ‘Towertale’ now on Nintendo Switch

Action game “Towertale” has just been released for the Nintendo Switch, and is now available on the Nintendo eShop for $9.99.

Developed by Pinoy studio MiSou Games and published for the Nintendo Switch by Philippine game company Keybol Games, “Towertale” is a 2D narrative-driven action title with a heavy focus on boss battles.

The game's Nintendo Switch release comes with a new multiplayer co-op mode allowing up to 4 players to face the tower’s challenges together. It even has Filipino and Dutch localizations.

The game’s previously released Steam version has been updated with all these new features.

“Towertale” revolves around a mysterious tower that grants anyone who reaches its summit the power to change their fate.

Playing as any of four unique heroes, your quest will have you ascending the tower and engaging each of its 17 ferocious guardians in multi-phase boss fights.

Each hero plays differently. The knight, for example, specializes in devastating melee attacks and a robust defense, like the anthropomorphic rabbit mage uses powerful area-of-effect spells.

You’ll need to play as all four heroes to experience all the different choices you can make, and unlock more than two dozen CG sequences and multiple endings.

There’s also an alternative storyline for the new co-op mode.

Additional modes include arcade mode, free mode, and boss rush.
