These 4 video game stores are opening online PS5 pre-orders for only 5 minutes on Friday!

Saw the PlayStation 5 (PS5) in one of your loved ones' Christmas wish list and want to get it as soon as possible?

Well, get your purchase game on because these video game stores are opening pre-orders to the much-anticipated PS5 for only five minutes on Friday, November 20!

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Sony Philippines, Datablitz, Gameline, and Game One PH announced that they will accept pre-orders online for PS5 consoles on Friday but only from 2 p.m. to 2:05 p.m.

With limited stocks available, these stores might just be your ticket to getting your hands on those PS5 before anybody else!

1. Sony Philippines

Sony Philippines announced that you secure a pre-order slot tomorrow by visiting abenson.com, metroplazadavao.com, or the Sony Centre Flagship Store in LazMall.

Only one unit is allowed per transaction and slots will be valid only when the customer pays in full.

Open to buyers only in the Philippines, the  pre-ordered PS5 consoles will be available by December 11, said Sony.

"Be one of the first customers in the Philippines to own the new PlayStation®5," it added.

2. DataBlitz

Although DataBlitz will be accepting online pre-orders, they are offering this service only to those who have signed up to their PS5 newsletter.

"We will send out an email tonight or tomorrow morning to everyone who had signed up as of 5:00 p.m. today (19-Nov.) which will include a unique link where customers may go to in order to preorder (note: link will only work by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow)," they said on Facebook.

DataBlitz said it is highly possible that not many would be able to get a pre-order slot because their stocks are "extremely limited." Pre-order is offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to only one slot per customer.

Any customer they find to be pre-ordering more than one PS5 unit using different accounts will get their orders cancelled and payments refunded, DataBlitz warned.

DataBlitz also said that they will only accept full payment to secure pre-order slots. For those who have yet to sign up for its PS5 newsletter, simply sign up here before 5 p.m.

3. Gameline

In a Facebook post, Gameline announced that they will accept pre-orders online via their website www.gameline.ph.

However, due to limited stock and high demand, customers are only allowed to purchase one unit each. For those who will be found to purchase more than one console using different accounts, their orders will be "automatically cancelled and their payments refunded."

Gameline also said that orders have to be paid within an hour after completed order transaction to secure the slot.

"Pre-order cost of the PS5 will be the full SRP of 27,990 PHP, with no cash discount (i.e., no partial payment is accepted). Installment-basis payments will NOT be available for PS5 pre-orders," they said.

4. Game One PH

Just like Gameline, Game One PH's pre-order promo can be accessed on their own webstore.

"Due to the current pandemic situation, pre-orders are moved to online only. Sit tight and get ready to pre-order in our webstore," Game One PH wrote on Facebook.

The video game store also said that they will only allow one unit per person. To secure pre-order slots, customers must pay in full.

"Any succeeding pre-orders for the console made by a customer in our website will not be considered and the payment will be refunded," they said.

According to Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore Private Limited (SIES), the PS5 will be launched in the Philippines on December 11.

The PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be on sale for a suggested retail price (SRP) of P27,990. —MGP, GMA News
