LTO encourages public to report road incidents via Citisend app

The  Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Wednesday encouraged the public to report road incidents and seek assistance from the agency using its Citisend app.

At the Laging Handa public briefing, LTO officer-in-charge Romeo Vera Cruz said the public may send videos of road incidents through the app and the government will take action.

“We are disseminating itong impormasyon na ito na tangkilikin ng ating mga kababayan itong Citisend app para they can upload their videos kung ano ang nakikita nila sa lansangan para matulungan ang ating gobyerno,” he said.

(We are disseminating this information for people to know they can use the  Citisend app to upload videos of whatever they are seeing on the road to help our government.)

The LTO said the app was created to promote road safety and enforce laws, rules, and regulations, as well as to empower the public to report incidents and help them with their LTO transactions inquiry.

Citisend can be downloaded from Google Play for Android users and the App Store for IOS users, LTO added. — BM, GMA News
