Tired of getting stuck in traffic? You can now order a flying car for P9.5-M
Many of us have probably dreamed of flying cars to escape traffic jams on the roads.
Well, flying cars may just be part of many cities soon as Samson Sky's Switchblade has finally been approved for take off by the United States Federal Aviation Agency.
After 14 years of development, the Switchblade has undergone final high speed taxi testing.
"Our takeoff speed is predicted to be 88 mph (142 kph), meaning that's the speed we need to hit, at which point the Switchblade would begin to lift off the ground," said Samson Sky CEO and designer Sam Bousfield.
"The Switchblade handled and performed very well."
The flying car can be parked at home like a normal vehicle, as its wings and tail are retractable.
If you want one of them in your garage, however, be prepared to shell out £145,000 or around P9.5 million.
According to Samson Sky, currently they have 2,100 reservations from 52 countries and counting.
