Shear line to bring rain across the Visayas, Mindanao –PAGASA

The shear line will bring rain showers and thunderstorms across the Visayas and Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said in a Monday afternoon forecast.

PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms would prevail over Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga due to the shear line.

The weather system will likewise bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast over Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao, while the rest of the Mindanao Region will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
