Messenger.com web messaging to end in April 2026

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, announced that Messenger.com will no longer support messaging starting April 2026.

The company also confirmed that the Messenger desktop app will no longer be available.

“You can use Facebook.com/messages to continue messaging on the web,” Meta said.

“After Messenger.com is discontinued, you will be automatically redirected to Facebook.com/messages for messaging on a computer. You can continue your conversations there or on the Messenger mobile app,” it added.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
