Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa’s run up the Senate stairwell to evade National Bureau of Investigation agents out to arrest him has been made into a viral web-based game.

According to Mark Salazar’s report on “24 Oras,” developer Jopel Mandac said he made the game “Senate Run” just for fun and for his friends.

The game’s user has to make Dela Rosa’s character jump to evade the agents. The character will be caught if the user makes him hit an obstacle or fails to make him jump before an agent catches the senator.

With Senate Run now voral, Jopel said he is considering upgrading the game with power-ups.

Mandac said a second project is a shooting game that features Senate Sergeant at Arms Mao Aplasca. The game’s objective, he said, is to make as many taps or shots as possible without any particular target.

He is also working on games around Sen. Pia Cayetano’s crying in the Senate plenary, and Sen. Francis Pangilinan and Sen. Robin Padilla’s verbal altercation also on the Senate floor. –NB, GMA News
