Light to moderate rain expected over north Luzon islands – PAGASA

The Batanes and Babuyan Islands would experience cloudy conditions accompanied with light to moderate rain due to the northeast monsoon, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Monday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions and isolated light rain over the Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Regions, and the rest of Cagayan Valley Region.

The rest of the country would meanwhile be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers

Winds would be strong from the northeast over the northern and western sections of northern Luzon, where coastal waters would be rough.

Over the eastern section of the country, winds would moderate to occasionally strong from the east to northeast with moderate to occasionally rough surrounding sea conditions.

Finally, winds over the rest of the country would be light to moderate from northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
