Cloudy, light rainshowers forecast for Metro Manila

The effects of the northeast monsoon will be felt in the entire Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Eastern Visayas and the Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies. The weather bureau warned that flashfloods or landslides are possible due to scattered light to moderate rains.

In the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, central Luzon, CALABARZON, and Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon. The weather system in these areas will have no significant impact, PAGASA says.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms. These areas may have flashfloods or landslides brought about by severe thunderstorms. — BAP, GMA News
