Scattered rain expected across the Visayas, Bicol Region – PAGASA

The Visayas and Bicol Region could expect cloudy conditions accompanied with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to a low-pressure area 165 kilometers northeast of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, PAGASA predicted in Sunday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would meanwhile bring cloudy conditions with light rain over Metro Manila, the Cagayan Valley Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and the Calabarzon Region; and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the rest of Luzon.

As for Mindanao, the island group could expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over northern and Central Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Over the eastern sections of southern Luzon and the Visayas, winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Finally, winds over the rest of the country would be light to moderate from the northeast to north with  slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions. — DVM, GMA News
