Partly cloudy skies for Metro Manila on Friday


The center of the Low Pressure Area (LPA), formerly Tropical Depression Betty, was estimated at 1,380 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, PAGASA reported in its early Friday morning weather forecast.

Meanwhile, the effects of the northeast monsoon will be felt in many parts of the country.

Cagayan Valley Region, eastern and central Visayas, CARAGA, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies.

Wind forecast for extreme northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country is moderate to strong moving in the northeast direction while coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country, forecast wind speed is slight to moderate also moving in the northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters. — BAP, GMA News
