PAGASA: Partly cloudy skies over Metro Manila


The ridge of the High Pressure Area (HPA) will be affecting northern and central Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Visayas, Mindanao and Palawan will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. Residents are advised to watch for flash floods during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy skies brought about by the ridge of the HPA.

Wind speed for the eastern sections of southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be moderate moving in the northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of central Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeast to east while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

For the rest of the country, wind speed will be light to moderate moving northeast to east with slight to moderate coastal water condition. — BAP, GMA News
