Generally fair weather in many areas in Luzon
A High Pressure Area (HPA) will be affecting northern Luzon on Friday, according to the early morning forecast of PAGASA.
Generally fair weather in most of Luzon except the provinces of Quezon and Aurora and the Bicol region where they may experience scattered rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Flashfloods may occur, the weather bureau warned, during severe thunderstorms.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy skies brought about by the HPA.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies.
The wind speed in the eastern sections of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate.
In northern Luzon and the eastern section of central Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters. — BAP, GMA News
