Warm easterlies to affect southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The easterlies will continue to be felt in southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Bicol Region, the Visayas, and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warns that flash floods may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for Luzon is slight to moderate moving east to southeast with slight to moderate coastal water condition.

In the Visayas and Mindanao, wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving east to northeast while the condition of coastal waters is slight to moderate.
