HPA spotted over eastern Luzon

The ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) will be affecting the eastern section of Luzon on Thursday, according to PAGASA's early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides, however, are possible during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed in Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate moving southeast to southwest while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

In Mindanao, wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving east to southeast while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
