Frontal system to bring isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila


Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Region, Bicol Region, eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the frontal system that will be affecting the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned that flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme northern Luzon is light to mdoerate moving northeast to east while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Wind speed forecast for eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas will be light to moderate moving northeast to northwest while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

For the rest of the country, wind speed would be slight to moderate moving southwest to west while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
