Fair weather forecast for Metro Manila


Low Pressure Area (LPA), which the PAGASA is monitoring has dissipated, according to Weather Specialist Gener Quitlong.

The agency is currently monitoring the Frontal System that would be affecting eastern Luzon and eastern Visayas.

Meanwhile, the effects of the southwesterly surface windflow will be felt by provinces in the western part of the country.

Cagayan Valley Region, Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will be affected directly by the frontal system and will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience fair weather and that it would be warm and humid for the affected residents. Localized thunderstorms may also occur as in recent days.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

Quitlong assured that the weather bureau will issue thunderstorm advisories one or two hours before these would occur.

The entire Visayas region, Zamboanga Peninsula, the BARMM, and SOCCSKSARGEN will be cloudy as these areas will be directly affected by the southwesterly surface windflow.

Eastern Visayas will be affected by the frontal system and will have cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with the possibility of the occurrence of localized thunderstorms in the afternoon.
